Oceania Cruises’ Marina has returned to service after an extensive refurbishment that included redesigned penthouse suites, plus three new culinary venues.
The three new eateries are all casual additions and include Aquamar Kitchen, a wellness-focused dining venue; a poolside ice cream parlor; and an evening-only al fresco pizzeria.
At Aquamar Kitchen, which debuted on Vista last year, cruisers will find a wellness-inspired menu that includes smoothies, avocado toast, and cold-pressed juices at breakfast, and Impossible burgers, tuna tacos, and more at lunch. Its beverage menu features a selection of zero-proof wines and cocktails.
In the evening, Waves Grill transforms into a pizzeria with freshly made pizzas, grilled Italian specialties, salads, and more. (There’s even a Nutella pizza for dessert.)
Additionally, an all-day ice cream parlor has been added to the pool deck, serving up artisanal ice cream, plus milkshakes and smoothies.
“Marina is the first – and original – ship designed by foodies, built by foodies, for foodies, “said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “The additional of these three relaxed, yet refined, eateries to Marina is the perfect way to spotlight that ‘The Finest Cuisine at Sea’ does not always mean a white linen tablecloth and starched napkins…”
Penthouse suites
The 124 Penthouse suites have been completely reimagined with new furniture, new closets and cabinetry, updated lighting, and additional outlets and USB ports.
Each Penthouse suite features a restyled bathroom with Italian marble, abundant drawer space, oversized showers, and more.
Public spaces that were also renewed during the refurbishment include Martinis, Horizons, The Grand Dining Room, and the Library. Polo Grill also boasts a fresh look with new carpeting, window treatments, and dining chairs.
Marina is the most recent of Oceania’s current fleet to be refurbished.
